How did you meet?

We met at a mutual friends party in 2010, such a strange moment we literally caught each other's eyes from across the room and ended up talking all night.  We stayed friends for about two years before dating.  Once we finally started dating it felt like we'd been together for so long, it was just so right. 

When and where did you get married?

We got married at Kauri Bay Boomrock (most beautiful venue ever!!) on the 19th March.  Literally just scraped in before lockdown, we feel so lucky! 

What was the theme/aesthetic for your big day? :

I change my mind a lot so we tried to keep everything really simple and classic.

What was the biggest source of inspiration while planning your wedding?

I had a big Pinterest board with lots of pins that helped heaps with inspiration.  Instagram was also really helpful, I loved going through photographers pages etc seeing real weddings. 

The most memorable moment from your day:

Oh my gosh this is hard.  I would have to say the whole walking down the aisle experience.  Walking with my mum, seeing all of my beautiful friends and families faces and then finally seeing Mark's face, such a memorable and special moment.

Tell us about the search for your dress:

I had seen a couple of one shoulder dresses and loved them so much so was pretty set on this style, Trish bought to life perfectly and made it so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!
 

 The biggest hit on the dance floor was:

Has to be when Mark decided to get on the drums (he hasn't played since he was 12) and played Wonderwall with the band.  Everyone loved it and were so shocked at how good he was! Very cool moment.

We honeymooned in:

No honeymoon for us as of yet, hopefully after lockdown we'll get to Mexico which is where we'd planned on going
