“I cannot thank Trish enough, she is one of the most loveliest ladies who makes you feel at ease straight away. It was the best experience I had throughout the planning process of our day, I couldn't fault a thing. Trish has a perfect eye for detail and truly captured what we had discussed. I always looked forward to going to my many fittings and seeing my dress slowly come to life. Every fitting was full of laughter and excitement. Trish was a dream to work with and is extremely talented - she created the most beautiful detailed dress I could have ever imagined. The quality of all her work, fabrics and right down to the little details like the gown bag was of the highest quality. It was the best and most seamless experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. I wish we could do it all again.”

How you met: It's the kind of story you see in movies. Ayden and I were next door neighbours as children (about 7 & 8 years of age). Ayden, myself and our siblings all played together as kids. As we got older we stopped hanging out and Ayden moved out of town but his parents remained living next door. Fast forward 14 or so years later, Ayden moved back home. Within a couple of days of Ayden being back next door we "accidentally" bumped into each other at the top of our driveways and the rest is history.

When and where was your wedding: We got married on the 16th February 2019 at Simunovich Olive Estate

The theme/aesthetic of your big day: We wanted our wedding to be fresh, crisp white, modern, elegant and for it to radiate love.

The biggest source of inspiration while planning your wedding: A combination of pinterest (I had a pinterest board for every element of our wedding, i'm a perfectionist), what we both personally had always dreamt of our day being, the simplistic, fresh, elegant style we love and help from our fabulous stylist Astrid from PS. The most memorable moment from your day: That's such a hard question! The whole day was memorable but walking down the aisle seeing my handsome husband waiting for me - I will never forget that moment. Our first dance was also pretty special. We danced to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. It was just me and Ayden on the dance floor. It was a magical moment and felt as if the world stood still for a minute and it was just us.

The biggest hit on the dance floor was: "Celebration" that song played as our first dance was ending and everyone got up quicker than we could have imagined, cleared the space and started off the dance floor. Simunovich staff commented they had never seen anything like it, it was great!

We honeymooned in:
We went on a mini moon to Sydney with the plans of having a honeymoon travelling through a couple of our must see places in America the following year but due to covid we are yet to do that.

Tell us about the search for your dream dress:
I have always been someone who knows what they want but when it came to my wedding dress I was stuck! I never saw a dress I LOVED but had seen elements of different dresses I liked. I looked online and in one bridal store but never tried anything on. I was scrolling through Facebook when an advert for Trish popped up so I booked in and went and saw Trish and talked to her about what I did and didn't like (while Trish listened and sketched away). Trish then turned around her sketchbook and asked me what I thought... Right then and there I was like YES that's the one. Elegant, detailed and flattering - It was perfect.
